T-BALL!

Its finally here! I think Ive been waiting T-Ball season to start before Jackson was even born. I pictured him with his cleats, glove and little hat.. Now its finally happening!

Most people know that I played softball through college and Ive also spent the last few years coaching a local high school team. Jackson's dad also played baseball in college, so to say that there are....ahem....certain expectations, would be an understatement.

I have done my best to bite my lip when watching practices and when I don't agree with the coach. Its just sooooooo hard! Jackson has been playing Second Base and Short Stop which is awesome! I don't think I could handle him being a pitcher. He loves going to practice and so far has done great in his first game.

I'm pretty sure I'll be watching him play for the next 17 years.. I cant wait!

Starting Fresh

I've decided to start this little piece of my world back up again. I dont exactly know what this blog will be for but I might as well jump right in!

How about an update?

-Jackson is now 5! How did that happen? I cant even wrap my brain around it. He will start kindergarten in August and is super excited. Everyday this kid says something so funny, and honest. He just amazes me. He is a creature of habit and everything must be in its place. He just started t-ball and loves anything Star Wars or Batman related. He is very into the bible and we read it every night. He also asks a minimum or 100 questions a day. Thankfully they are still pretty easy to answer. Jackson loves everyone and isn't shy, he is such a good big brother too. He is always so patient with Ben and loves to make Ben laugh and laugh.

-Lets discuss the red head shall we? Benjamin Wilson is C-R-A-Z-Y! Benny, Boo Boo, Ben, and Benja, are the names we usually call him. I have never been around such a fearless child. He is independent, strong-willed, and usually gets his way. He has a way of just wrapping everyone he comes into contact with around his tiny little finger. I cant take him anywhere without someone stopping us and making a comment about his hair. It is such a beautiful color and I still have no idea where it comes from. He loves any and all animals and babies. For Christmas I got him a cat and Ben and Cattie are BFF's.
Benny loves talking talking talking and has an awesome French accent. He is really into throwing things and just the other night said 'I love you.' I am so thankful for this little guy. He is so funny and a total lover. -In the last year we have moved about 20 minutes away from our old home and now live in a beautiful new home in a gated community. There is a club house and a pool, that we don't have to take care of! The boys love it. - I also went back to work. I'm a recruiter for a large staffing company and really enjoy my work. The boys have both adjusted well and so have I thankfully. I can honestly say that life at this point is one happy day at a time. I promise to update more from now on!
